FAQs

A Contract Administrator typically manages traditional procurement projects, overseeing works under standard contracts such as JCT Intermediate or Minor Works. An Employer’s Agent performs a similar role on design and build projects, representing the client’s interests while coordinating the design team and contractors. Both roles ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual, financial and technical requirements.

The Employer’s Agent should be engaged early in the project, ideally before contract execution, to ensure design coordination, specification accuracy and programme clarity. Early involvement allows the Agent to align the design and construction teams with the client’s objectives, establishing a clear framework for performance, communication and compliance throughout delivery.

We act as the client’s representative, managing design teams, consultants and contractors to ensure the project meets agreed objectives. This includes monitoring cost and quality, issuing instructions, certifying payments, and managing change. Our Employer’s Agent role combines technical, contractual and leadership expertise to achieve seamless delivery and best value for clients.

Yes. We can advise on the most appropriate route and deliver both roles individually or combined across a client’s portfolio. Whether traditional or design and build, our consistent approach to communication, quality and compliance ensures projects are delivered efficiently and transparently, with full accountability at every stage.

Our nationwide multi-disciplinary team blends technical expertise with strong leadership and communication. We focus on proactive engagement, risk management and stakeholder collaboration to ensure clarity from start to finish. By providing consistent oversight and transparent reporting, we give clients confidence that their projects will be delivered safely, compliantly and to the highest professional standard.
