FAQs

A Building Safety Case is a detailed document that demonstrates how building risks (particularly fire and structural safety) are identified, managed, and controlled. It is required under the Building Safety Act for high-risk residential buildings.

We provide a complete service; from creating Building Safety Case documentation and carrying out fire door inspections, to specifying and managing remedial works. Our team ensures full alignment with the Building Safety Regulator’s requirements.

The Principal Designer oversees design compliance under the Building Safety Act, coordinating safety and regulatory duties from feasibility through to completion. Earl Kendrick’s accredited team can act in this role to ensure designs are safe, coordinated, and compliant.

Flat entrance fire doors must be checked at least once every 12 months, and communal fire doors every three months. These requirements apply to buildings over 11 metres in height. We carry out both inspections and any remedial works required to maintain compliance.

We work across the full range of residential and mixed-use properties – from single developments to nationwide portfolios – supporting landlords, managing agents, housing associations, and developers.
